Potrivit Regulamentului (CE) nr. 261/2004 operatorii aerieni au obligația de a despăgubi pasagerii în anumite cazuri expres prevăzute de legislația europeană. Astfel, dacă zborul tău a suferit o întârziere mai mare de 3 ore, zborul ți-a fost anulat sau ți-a fost refuzată îmbarcarea, ești îndreptățit să primești despăgubire al cărei cuantum este stabilit în funcție de distanța zborului.
