Regulation (EC) no. 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of February 11, 2004 establishes the legal provisions for the consumer to obtain the compensation due to him. Also, this regulation the ways of compensating flights and the assistance that the airline must provide to passengers in the event of flight cancellations and denied boarding (including overbooking). It provides for flight compensation from €250 to €600 depending on the flight distance.

Considering that the compensation procedure differs from one company to another, and the estimated time to receive the compensation varies. Our goal is to offer you the maximum compensation you can get in the shortest time through amicable resolution of procedures. Also, we must consider the policy of each flight operator, as in most cases we receive answers to our requests within 3 weeks, but the compensation process can take up to 12 months.

If we have successfully resolved your compensation request, ‘Întârziat’ charges a commission of 20% of the total compensation. Given that one of the principles we stand by is fairness, if we haven’t resolved your request successfully, then the service provided by ‘Întârziat’ will cost you absolutely nothing. And if the airline approves your compensation, we charge a 20% commission on the total compensation value. We believe our price is FAIR. Competing companies in the field charge 25 / 29% + VAT + bank transfer fee (30 – 50 euros)

After receiving the compensation from the airline operator as a result of amicably resolving the situation, we will make a payment to you amounting to 80%, retaining a 20% commission from the total compensation, representing the value of the service we provided. This commission includes the filing of the application by a LAWYER and the bank transfer fee. You have no other fees/commissions to pay.

We operate on the following premise: we win, you pay; we don’t win, you pay nothing. Thus, we don’t charge any advance or any other fee, the 20% commission is charged at the end of the procedures as a result of amicably resolving your request.

If the airline operator has refused compensation, citing the existence of extraordinary circumstances, we will take the necessary steps to recover compensation through legal action. The procedure will consist in the conclusion of a debt assignment contract between the person entitled to receive the compensation and the DEFAULT, following which we will recover the debt based on a court decision.

In principle, the additional expenses you incurred due to the cancellation/delay of the flight are settled by the airline operator, to the extent that they are proven. In this sense, we advise you to keep the receipts or supporting documents (account statement) and attach them when you fill out the form.
