This airline ADR scheme list joins the CAA's ADR list with the AviationADR and CEDR member pages, and adds the next step for a UK261 complaint. AviationADR is a trading name of Consumer Dispute Resolution Ltd. The scheme is free for passengers, and a decision you accept binds the airline. Wizz Air appears simply as "Wizz Air". AviationADR's own page sets each brand's reach. Every member is in scope when the flight involves a UK airport; Ryanair, Lauda, Malta Air and Buzz add Spain, Sweden and Denmark, Wizz Air adds Hungary and Germany, and easyJet adds Switzerland. Virgin Atlantic reaches furthest: any airport worldwide. Complain to the airline first. With no response inside [8 weeks](https://airtravelrights.com/data/airline-compensation-payout-times/), you can send a Ryanair ADR complaint, or one about any other airline on this table, to AviationADR, and it must arrive within 12 months of the airline's final response (sometimes called a deadlock letter) or its last written communication. The CAA says most decisions come within 3 months. If you do not accept one, you can still go to court. Check the operating carrier named on your booking against the table before you file. ## Which airlines use CEDR? 5 carriers sit under CEDR on the CAA's ADR list: BA CityFlyer, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Norse Atlantic UK and Scandinavian Airlines SAS. CEDR's own aviation page adds 2 more, BA EuroFlyer and SAS Connect. After you accept a CEDR decision, the airline must comply within 20 working days unless the decision says otherwise. Regulation 5 of SI 2005/975 names CEDR Services Limited as a UK261 complaint body, but only where its contract with the carrier covers the complaint. The CAA's conditions for a British Airways CEDR complaint, and for every other row in this table, match [AviationADR](https://airtravelrights.com/uk261/flight-delay-compensation/)'s: apply once the airline has not responded within 8 weeks, and within 12 months of its final response or last written communication. The CAA list names Norse Atlantic UK and no other Norse company, so that row says nothing about a flight operated by another Norse company. Write down the date you accept a CEDR decision and count 20 working days from it. ## Which airlines use a foreign ADR body? 4 carriers on the CAA's ADR list are recorded against an ADR body outside the UK: Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and Swiss appear under Schlichtung Reise & Verkehr in Berlin. The CAA lists none of the 4 under AviationADR or CEDR, and SI 2005/975 does not name the Berlin body among its UK261 complaint bodies. No fee, deadline or decision time appears, because none has been checked. UK261 still decides whether you have a claim. Article 3(1)(a) covers any airline leaving a UK airport. On flights into the UK, article 3(1)(b) covers a Community carrier, and the European Commission's licence list (data as at 19 May 2026) includes Austrian Airlines AG, Brussels Airlines N.V. and Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft. That inbound rule falls away if you already received benefits or compensation and assistance in the country you left. Swiss is the exception. Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. holds a Swiss air operator certificate, and no UK source checked for this page extends UK261 to its flights into the UK. Write to the airline first and keep a copy, then read the Berlin body's own rules before you send it your case. ## Which airlines are in no UK ADR scheme? Jet2 and Loganair, both UK carriers, appear on none of the 3 lists checked on 15 September 2026: the CAA's ADR list, AviationADR's members page and CEDR's subscriber page. For either airline, the next step is the CAA's Passenger Advice and Complaints Team (PACT), which cannot make a binding decision, or a court claim. An airline missing from every table here has not been checked at all, which is a different thing from being outside ADR. For Jet2 or Loganair, PACT needs a written complaint to the airline first, then either 8 weeks with no reply or an answer you are not satisfied with. The CAA says it is only likely to consider a complaint against an airline outside an approved ADR body. PACT gives its view on whether the UK261 complaint is valid and, if it is, raises it with the airline, but has no "legal powers to impose a solution on an airline". With less than a year left to take legal action, PACT will not handle the case. Court stays open either way: 6 years in England and Wales under section 9(1) of the Limitation Act 1980, and 6 years in Northern Ireland. In Scotland an obligation is extinguished after 5 years under the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973, and no Scottish court has yet decided whether that rule or article 3(9) of UK261 governs. Contact PACT with more than a year left, file inside five years if you would sue in Scotland, and read [airline refused compensation](https://airtravelrights.com/airline-refused-compensation/) for the other routes. ## How was this list built, and when is it re-checked? 3 public lists, read on 15 September 2026, feed every row: the CAA's ADR page, AviationADR's airline members page and CEDR's aviation page. The CAA page carries no update date of its own, so each row's check date records when the list was read, not when the CAA last changed it. Rows start from the CAA list, which sorts carriers under the 2 approved providers, AviationADR and CEDR, and the Berlin body; each row is then matched against both schemes' member pages, which adds the 2 CEDR-only rows. The lists name brands, so ADR scheme membership is recorded at brand level: Buzz, Lauda and Malta Air link to the Ryanair card, and BA CityFlyer and BA EuroFlyer to the British Airways card, without naming the company that holds the membership.
